01. Will I have a Fashion Designer to support me 24/7?

No, Your design team will support you through the design and sample process, they are here to support you and answer any questions you may have.

02. What if I don’t like my design once Iam finished, do I get to go again?

03. Why could there be a surcharge?

We try to cater for all new and emerging designers, but of course a gown is a different process to an active tight, or toddler onesie. It is impossible for us to estimate the final cost of your garment until the spec process has been completed. Each garment will have different fabric, trim, print or dye requirements and costings.

 

04. How many changes do I get to my spec sheet?

Your designer will work through the process in detail with you. If when your spec is finished you want to change your mind you will get 2 revisions.

05. Do I get unlimited fabric selection?

Not quite, during your fabric selection consultation Once you have decided on your fabric choices you will be sent a swatch. Your Fabric consultation and selection is so important, and complicated! We will move mountains to help you choose the perfect fabric for your garment. If you change your mind once you have made your choices additional swatches you can purchase these on the website.

06. Is my true sample included in my package?

Yes, in the platinum package, your toile (sample) and true sample are both included in your package. You will receive a detailed order docket with the cost of your true sample and production costs.

 

07. Is all of my production included in my package.?

No, once your spec is complete you will receive a detailed order docket with your cost of production.

08. Do I need to buy a package for each design?

Yes, you need to buy a package for each design, but not each colourway. If you purchase the platinum package it includes 1 design from idea to production ready. For ‘Add on’ Designs your true sample will be POA. As it will depend on the complexity and fabric of the garment.

If you would like to ‘add’ a design to your platinum package you will need one add on for every additional design.

You would purchase the Platinum Package - Design #1 For additional designs you would need to buy and ‘add on’ + true sample for each design - For example :

Platinum package - Design #1 - Dress

Add on + Sample - Design # 2 - Shirt

Add on + Sample - Design # 3 - Skirt

09. Why cant I use the one package for all my designs?

We need to go through the entire design process for every individual design. Each design needs every service, every time.

 

10. How long will my toile take?

We allow 1- 2 weeks for most services. This allows time for the Design team to spend enough time working on your design. It also allows you enough time to gather the information we need.

11. For small run production, can we do in dye color fabric or printing?

Yes we can, but remember your will pay a premium price for small quantities.

12. If I don’t need everything that you provide in your Package, would I get a discount?

No, all the prices included in the package are already a special price. If you would like to purchase each separate service, we have the a la carte pricing.

 

13. Sketches, moodboard, taking measurements.... AHHHHHHHH what if I dont have any of this?

DONT WORRY! We will work with your inspiration pieces, and all your ideas. Just give us everything you have and we will transform it to a sample ready for production.

14. Artwork design (for fabric print and label); I want to design my own labels or fabric print or packaging. How do I start ?

We offer add on services to the package your need. Our team will guide you through the process. They will help you to source and provide you with detailed quotes and timeframes.

15. Whats a strike off ?

When you design fabric or labels or packaging or want to test a fabric dye we will need to do a sample - this is called a ‘strike off’. So we know exactly the design and look of what you require.

 

16. Are strike offs included in my packages?

No, every strike off is different, we will give you a quote for you to approve for every strike off.

17. What if i receive my toile is not as what expecting, would you re-make toile ?

Our design team will send you the toile picture detail first to review before we ship to avoid misinterpreted design in advance. If you need alterations to your toile you get 2 revisions. If you decide you don’t like your design there will be extra cost for major changes that are out of original specification.

18. Can I arrange my own shipping ?

For all small run production we arrange the shipping. For Bulk production we are happy to discuss your requirements.

 

19. How long will my Fashion Design Take?

Depending on how many Designs are in your collection mostly 1 up to 2 weeks.

20. For small run production, can we start using our own logo label?

Yes, we can, but remember you will pay a premium price for small quantities. Also some printers have MOQs, so its worth considering doing a bulk printing order in the beginning.

21. Can I source my own fabrics?

No, we control of fabric sourcing and purchasing from suppliers. Sometimes it can be tricky to deal with commercial suppliers, our team is versed in the dealings.

 

22. What are your minimums?

Our minimum order for adult clothing is: 50 pieces per style/color with three size variations included - with a total minimum of 250 units per order. Our minimum order for children’s clothing is: 100 pieces per style/color - a total minimum order of 500 units. S&F sources and supplies all fabric from our local suppliers in Indonesia.
